Course Description

This lab field trip has students utilizing an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to track a “disease outbreak” among their classmates with an exchange of simulated body fluids. While running this diagnostic assay, students will learn about the basics of immunology and how to use antibodies in diagnosing and tracking diseases.
