Who We Are

Biotility at University of Florida is committed to providing high-quality education, training, and credentialing to facilitate professional growth. Our certificate short-courses are attended by professionals and students preparing to enter industry careers, as well as by researchers—all of whom seek to expand and deepen their knowledge in technical and regulatory details unique to bioscience industry and translational research.

What We Do

Launched in 2006 to prepare emerging workforce talent and advance incumbent employees for success in the bioscience industry, Biotility functions at the intersection of academia and industry. Proximal to the cluster of biotechnology companies in the Gainesville/Alachua, FL area, Biotility partners with industry leaders to identify current training requirements and participate in course development.

The Coalition of State Bioscience Institutes (CSBI) released the 2023 Life Sciences Workforce Trends Report. The biennial report provides a national snapshot of the most pressing current and anticipated talent needs of the nation’s dynamic life science industry, and this year the BACE has been featured.
