Bacterial Transformation with Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP)
Description
In the context of manufacturing of a biopharmaceutical product, students will use a simple procedure to transform E. coli with the pGLO plasmid. After the transformation, students will culture their samples to determine if a successful transformation occurred. Skills involved include: pipetting, incubation, aseptic technique.
