Biotility at the University of Florida is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to all users, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. We strive to provide equal access to our services, programs, and activities for everyone.

Our website is designed to follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), which means it meets the internationally recognized standards for web accessibility. Certain third-party plugins on our site are not yet 100% accessible, and we are working with those vendors to remedy that. We have implemented various features and technologies to ensure our website can be used by everyone, regardless of their abilities.

One of the key accessibility features on our website is the ReciteMe toolbar, which can be accessed by clicking on the accessibility symbol located in the bottom left corner of the page. The ReciteMe toolbar provides a range of tools and functions that can help users to customize their experience, including:

  • Screen reading: allowing users to listen to the content of the page
  • Text modification: allowing users to change the font size, color, and style to suit their needs
  • Translation: allowing users to translate the content of the page into their preferred language
