BACE for Teachers

For states requiring instructors to hold a workforce credential, educators can earn the BACE credential via the following options:

• Register to take the credentialing exam using an Access Code ($150).
• Participants registering for a BACE Administrators workshop can register at the same time to take the credentialing exam ($300 for both). The exam will be administered on the day following the workshop.

The credentialing exam consists of two components:

• A Knowledge Exam, taken online via UF e-learning (3 hours)
• A Practical Exam (4 hours)

Candidates must score 80% or above to pass the exam. Upon passing the exam, electronic credentials are issued immediately. Electronic credentials are issued as a badge from Badgr, and may be accessed by the candidate from within UF e-Learning under the Badges menu. These credentials may be displayed on Facebook or LinkedIn, and may be digitally verified online by anyone.
